Hello! I am a PhD student, quantitative researcher, and teaching fellow at the University of Oxford’s Department of Social Policy & Intervention.

My PhD centers the Asian diaspora in Canada and the UK to understand the divergent ways that racialized social systems structure racialized people’s lives. This includes varied effects on political behaviour, health, and racial/ethnic identity formation itself, within the diaspora. You can find the first paper from my PhD on how COVID-19 anti-Asian racism affected Asian Canadians’ party support, here. I am funded by the Canadian Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council and my department’s Barnett Scholarship.

Prior to my PhD, I completed a Master of Science in Health Services Research and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences at the University of Toronto in Canada.
